Terms and Conditions
2024 Terms and Conditions.
1. Introduction
By engaging Sturt's Mowers for any lawn service or repair work, you agree to the following terms and conditions. It is important to read and understand these terms as they form the basis of our agreement.
2. Bookings and Confirmation
2.1. All bookings must be confirmed either via telephone or email. No other forms of booking or confirmation will be accepted.
2.2. The customer is responsible for providing accurate descriptions of the work required. Sturt's Mowers reserves the right to amend the quoted price if additional work is required due to incomplete or incorrect information provided by the customer.
2.3. The customer must ensure that access to the property is available at the agreed time. Failure to provide access may result in additional charges or rescheduling.
3. Pricing and Payment Terms
3.1. Prices for services are based on the information provided by the customer and may be subject to change if additional work is required.
3.2. Payment is due upon completion of the service unless other terms have been agreed in writing. Payments can be made via bank transfer or cash only. Cheques are not accepted.
3.3. For larger projects, a deposit of 30% may be required upon booking, with the balance payable on completion.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
4.1. The customer may cancel a booking without charge if notice is given at least 48 hours before the scheduled service.
4.2. Sturt's Mowers reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a service due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions or equipment failure. In such cases, the customer will be notified as soon as possible.
5. Liability
5.1. Sturt's Mowers accepts no liability whatsoever for any damage, loss, or injury arising from the provision of its services, except where it is unlawful to exclude such liability.
5.2. The customer is solely responsible for informing Sturt's Mowers of any underground utilities or hidden structures. Sturt's Mowers will not be held liable for any damage to such structures, regardless of whether they were disclosed in advance.
5.3. Sturt's Mowers will not be responsible for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including but not limited to loss of use, revenue, profits, or savings.
6. Complaints
6.1. Any complaints regarding the service provided must be reported within 14 days. Sturt's Mowers will investigate and aim to resolve the issue promptly, but does not accept liability for any dissatisfaction.
7. Miscellaneous
7.1. These terms and conditions may be updated from time to time. Customers will be notified of any significant changes.
7.2. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
